As an AISES member I was given the opportunity to travel to the National
Conference in Anchorage, AK. The opportunities at the career fair and listening
to the speakers was enlightening. After this conference I was able to broaden
my horizons for my future.

Senate- treasurer
As a member of student senate we held great functions. The Halloween party was
great and had much involvement from the student body. We didn’t have as many
things as we wanted to do. My plans for the future are to continue to support
and be involved in student senate.

AIHEC
American Indian Higher Education Consortium is an awesome thing to take part in. We get
the opportunity to compete in a professional setting and learn how others
students from other TCUs. I realized that my experience at Fort Berthold
Community College is one of many. This gave me more pride in my
TCU.

Horse racing
ily and I have always had horses in our lives. When I moved up to North
Dakota we experienced Suicide races at powwows. I was in awe of this sport,
because the athleticism and horsemanship it takes to be able to participate.
Today, along with my sister, we compete in endurance races and local suicide
races. I love this more than anything. The freedom I have and connection to my
horse is an amazing and is my outlet.

Vision
Riders
This
organization was started by a group and me to give the opportunity of
horsemanship to the community and youth who wish they could be around horses.
The responsibilities that we want to teach the youth come hand in hand with
responsibilities in life.
